《 WHITESVILLE 》 WHITESVILLE (ホワイツビル) 東洋エンタープライズブランドコンセプトのもと、作り、素材、パーツに至るまで余す事無く受け継ぎ、独自の発想を元に現代に蘇らせている。
ブランド名である「WHITESVILLE」は、もともと運動着や肌着（アンダーウェア）を扱うメーカーでアメリカのデパートメントストア、モンゴメリーワード社が1950年代中頃、通信販売などでも扱っていたメーカー。
当時の「WHITESVILL」は、スタジャンのようなスポーツジャケットも極少量生産しており、その作りはスエットシャツ同様に頑丈でした。
作りだけに限らず、素材、パーツに至るまで余すことなく受け継ぎ、「シニール」などのデザインは独自の発想を元に現代に蘇らせたブランド。

スタジアム・ジャンパーとは和製英語で、アメリカではスポーツの大会や試合などで優秀な成績を納めた者だけが着用できることから「アワードジャケット」「レターマンズジャケット」「ヴァーシティジャケット」と呼ばれるのが一般的です。
アメリカの学生が着るアワードジャケットは、胸にチームの頭文字やマーク、袖には卒業年度もしくは自分のゼッケンナンバーを「シニール」と呼ばれる、フェルト地にパイル地のワッペンを縫いつけたものが多く、の「シニール」は大会や試合などで参加賞や賞品として配られ、それを学生達が自分のジャケットに縫いつけ誇らしげに着用していたものです。

こちらは1970年代実在したヴィンテージをもとに再現。
'70年代前半までのアワードジャケットは、シニールのみのシンプルなデザインのものが多かった。
